First Certified Passive House in the Wood River Valley!

Certified Passive Houses are one-of-a-kind. They require a total commitment from the owners, the architect and the builder. It’s all to common for me to get a phone call that someone wants to build a Passive House…but by the time they begin design they waffled down to “it’ll be a just as good but…” Often by the time the house is finished it’s just a code-built house.
This is part of what made this Hailey, Idaho certified Passive House so special. The whole team drank the proverbial kool-aid, and when value-engineering was required it was done without sacrifice to the building envelope or energy systems.
